Focus

The aims of Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen - Journal of Applied Management (JAM) are to publish and disseminate high quality original research papers, to support the development of management science. JAM prioritizes originality, specificity, and up-to-date articles in each of its publications.

Scopes

Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen - Journal of Applied Management (JAM) publishes all types of research articles that are related to science and applied management. The research method approach includes Quantitative, Qualitative, and Mix Method. Subject Area in Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen - Journal of Applied Management (JAM) are Cultural Studies, Religious Studies, Gender Studies, and Current Developments applied to Management.

 

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (Journal of Applied Management) go through a double-blind peer review process.

The procedure begins with the selection of the editor and/or section editor. Before choosing reviewers, the chosen editor and/or section editor conducts an initial peer review process to determine whether the focus and scope are appropriate. Generally, the candidate of reviewers will be chosen based on their reputation in the international publication number and quality. Next step, The Editor or/and Section Editor send the invitation letter for each candidate of reviewer. After the candidate of reviewer informed their availabilities for reviewing process, Editor or/and Section Editor create account for each reviewer and then send manuscript by OJS.

In the reviewing process, all reviewing process are in double blind review and managed by editor and/or section editor in the OJS. there are at least two reviewers for each manuscript in the related topic. Three weeks will be needed for reviewer to complete one round reviewing process.

 

Plagiarism Policy

Authors should only submit original work that hasn't been published or isn't currently being considered elsewhere. The editorial team will check submitted manuscripts against previously published works using Turnitin or another plagiarism detection tool. In the first step, a turnitin program will be used to check each submitted manuscript for degrees of plagiarism. 20% is the upper limit for all detected sources combined, while 2% is the upper limit for each source. If the manuscript passes Turnitin, the next step is to check with additional programs and search engines to prevent plagiarism software from being cheated.

 

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (Journal of Applied Management) is published four times a year, in March, June, September, and December.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Journal History

Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen - Journal of Applied Management (JAM) is published periodically in cooperation with Asosiasi Ilmuwan Manajemen Indonesia (AIMI) and a member of Aliansi Pengelola Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis Indonesia (ALJEBI). Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) is published four times yearly in March, June, September, and December. Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) publishes all forms of quantitative and qualitative research articles and other scientific studies related to functional management (marketing, finance, human resources, and operations), as well as applied management and a wide range of applications. The subject areas in Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) are cultural studies, religious studies, gender studies, and current development, all of which are applied to management. 

2002 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) First published 2002 thrice a year, in April, August, and December. Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) was initially initiated by the Management Program, Department of Management Faculty of Economics Universitas Brawijaya in 1997.

2005 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) was first accredited in 2005 by the Director General of DIKTI decree No: 56/Dikti/Kep/2005, dated 12 May 2005.

2008 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) can successively maintain itself as an accredited national journal 2008 through the Director General of DIKTI decree No: 43 / DIKTI / Kep / 2008 dated 8 July 2008.

2011 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) can remain an accredited national journal through the Director General of DIKTI decree No. 66b/DIKTI/Kep/2011 (from August 2011 to August 2016). Since 2011, Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM), in collaboration with Asosiasi Ilmuwan Manajemen Indonesia (AIMI), especially regarding contributions and management of articles mainly through seminars / scientific conferences and proceedings.

2015 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) helped initiate the creation of the Alliance Business Indonesian Journal of Economics and Business (ALJEBI), composed of journals managed in economics and business throughout Indonesia.

2016 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) accredited through Director General of RISTEKDIKTI decree No. 36a/E/KPT/2016 dated 23 May 2016. This year, there was a change in the accreditation system to SINTA indexing, and JAM was in the SINTA 2 position until 2020. Since 2016, Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) uses DOI: 10.18202/jam23026332. 

2017 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) change DOI number. Since June 2017 edition using DOI: 10.21776/ub.jam

2020 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) was accredited by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, No 200/M/KPT/2020, 23 December 2020. The validity period of accreditation in the SINTA 2 from volume 18, number 1, in 2020, to volume 23, number 2, in 2024.

2023 — From 2023, Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) will use a new paper appearance to beautify and provide more complete information.

2024 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) has provided clarity of coverage in the website information and the table of contents, separated into several subject areas. The subject areas in Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) are cultural studies, religious studies, gender studies, and current development, all of which are applied to management. Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) was accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, No 177/E/KPT/2024, 13 November 2024. The validity period of accreditation in the SINTA 2 from volume 23, number 3, in 2024, to volume 26, number 2, in 2028.

2025 — Jurnal Aplikasi Manajemen (JAM) changed the version of OJS 2 to OJS 3 and applied graphical abstracts to every published article and changed the appearance of the book cover.
